The highly irritating and almost extortion based parking system introduced by the Development Authority has turned into a menace. It is almost impossible to park your vehicle anywhere even for 10 minutes. The moment you park you vehicle there would be a person approaching you a with a ticket booklet charging Rs.10- 20

The biggest question is what for?? The receipt clearly says he holds no responsibility for anything any loss or any damage. Then what are they charging for? For the land, where we park for a moment to few hours. Are we not paying enough in income tax to utilize the land for parking for few hours.

Further more to make enough money they park cars bumper to bumper and too close to each other, and in case of any damage to your vehicle by scratch or dent they are just not liable. You just can not argue with them since they themselves are local goons managed parking theka. The police also rarely help since have their own cut from these parking guys.

The best part is if by chance if you do not collect your vehicle by 11 night they would leave your vehicle where ever it is and leave for their home. So what are they are charging for actually, if they do not even care for the vehicle after a certain point of time?

There is no directive whatsoever, and it is really hard to understand if its legal or highly illegal to charge money in this manner??

It is surprising to see such parking slots in sector 18 sector 29 sector 50 market and almost everywhere.
